Willamette Falls, at 42 feet high and 1,500 feet wide, is the largest waterfall by water volume in the Northwest. After being closed to the public for 130 years, the Falls are in transition to become a public riverwalk. BRV was hired in 2019 by Willamette Falls Trust to develop programming experiences that will advance the design vision of the Riverwalk and bring to life the Willamette Falls Trust’s core values of Public Access, Cultural and Historic Interpretation, Economic Redevelopment, and Healthy Habitat. The programming at the Falls will give the public a way to experience the history of the site and be part of its developing future.
